THE SERES METEORITE ON EXHIBITION

  From Wednesday the 7th until Sunday the 11th of November, the meteorite SERES, on loan from the National History Museum of Vienna, will be exhibited in Herkaleidon Museum, 16th Herakleidon str. Thission, Athens. During the meteorite exhbition, the Museum will be open from 10:00 to 21:00


OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION "ANCIENT CHINESE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY"

Celebrating the Year of Greek-Chinese Friendship, the Museum Herakleidon hosted a special opening on Thursday, September 21 at 20:00 of the exhibition "Ancient Chinese Science and Technology", which presents 90 exhibits from the collection of the China Museum of Science and Technology (CMST) in Beijing.

 



COLLABORATION WITH THE CHINA SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM
The Museum Herakleidon is honored and delighted to announce its official collaboration with the China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) of Beijing, with the objective of organizing and exchanging exhibitions, in parallel, in 2017, which has been declared the Year of Greek-Chinese Friendship.

eureka: science, art & technology of the ancient greekswar technology - automata - antikythera mechanism This exhibition of the Ancient Greek Technology is a part of the collection foundend by Herakleidon Museum and the Association for the Study of Ancient Greek Technology. The exhibition expands in both our buildings, presenting War Technology in the one at the 37th Apostolou Pavlou str and Automata - Antikythera Mechanism in the 16th Herakleidon str. building.
